It’s not scary. It’s traumatizing. It’s very…..graphic.

I say don’t read it if you’re 13. That’s not the age for this…and if you are STILL going to read it just know that the things that Zade does to Addy is NOT romantic. A lot of the time, he FORCES her to be with him and that’s not right. He should only be with her if SHE wants to be with him. But for the most part she does not.
He doesn’t ask her permission before he comes into her house and spends time with her. Romance is when both people like each other and want to be with each other. But he forces her instead. As long as she doesn’t say “Yes.” or nod then….it’s not right.
Honestly, in real life, Zade would have had at least 10 years in prison. This is criminal behaviour lol.
Anyway, don’t let anyone do this to you in real life. It’s considered abuse. Be careful.
i’m gonna start off by saying that this is my personal opinion and knowledge, it is completely fine if you disagree, and i would suggest, if you’re a child, please take this with a grain of salt, because i am going off of what i remember to be true.
I believe that, yes, this book is an “adult” book. However, that doesn’t mean minors can’t read it. Age has nothing to do with a persons maturity, or what they can handle when it comes to graphic content. Some 13-14 year olds are more equipped to handle things like this book than some full-grown adults, and it has much to do with their personal experiences, the way they were raised, and other factors. I’m not at all saying this book SHOULD be read by young teens, because it seriously shouldn’t, however, i know that kids will be kids and they’ll probably read it anyways. So, if you’re a young teen reading this comment, please note that this book contains graphic violence, abuse, murder, torture, mentions of rape and SA, and many other mature themes, DO NOT read this book if you are not PROPERLY informed on these topics, and that doesn’t mean look it up, it means go ask your parents about it. I would also like to note that NONE of the relationships in this book are healthy in the slightest, and are actually much closer to being abusive. What happens in this book is not romantic, and should not be romanticized. I can’t stop anyone from reading this book, however i would hope that any young teens here that are reading this comment heed this warning before clicking the first chapter.
I know I cant truly stop you from reading but I high recommend you to turn away.
This is an 18+ book meaning it has VERY mature content not appropriate for younger readers(as in abuse, murder, stalking, sexual content, and more that i dont feel comfortable mentioning). I would not recommend reading this if your 13 yrs old as it has traumatizing situations and events that hit too close home. You do not want to read this yet.

13 year olds should not be reading this material. I know it’s out here and they can access it but this is very mature. And even if a 13 year old is mature for their age their minds are still very malleable so this could influence them to think that what Zade does is okay and it is 100% not okay.

I hate how people are in these comments talking shit about how what Zade does to Addy is not okay. It’s not romantic. Remember that everyone’s different and you’re wrong to try and make someone feel bad for liking what they do. These books have a trigger warning if you’re so traumatized and disgusted then don’t fucking read it. Nicholas Sparks’ books are just as good.

By the way, Addy is a grown-ass woman if she didn’t want Zade then she wouldn’t have him. Yes, he can be overbearing, bossy, and rude, even psychotic but that’s the way Zade was intended to be and to some such as myself I’d say he is romantic.
I´m so shocked I have tears streaming down my face, The last 3 or 2 chapters go perfectly with ¨Skyfall¨ By Adele, This book was so interesting and I highly recommend to viewers that like dark books, It took me like 2 or 3 days to read.
