Bribing the Billionaire’s Revenge: Chapter 13

Comfort

He pushed a button on his steering wheel and music filled the car, “what is your favorite kind of music?”

“Pop. My brother hates it and says it all sounds the same, but I like it. What are we listening to?” she leaned forward trying to understand the lyrics.

“Music from Portugal,” he smiled. “It’s sexy, no?”

“It’s very sexy,” she giggled as his wide grin.

  “Do you dance, Liesl?”

“When I was younger, the girls and I would go to night clubs and dance all night.”

“Younger? You’re twenty-eight! You should be dancing.”

“I had an image to maintain.”

“Your ex is an idiot,” he snarked out, “if you were my wife, I’d have paraded you everywhere. Have you dancing sexy with me in nightclubs, bringing you out to make all the men jealous their wives didn’t look near as hot as mine.” He winked at her, “I would be rubbing it all their faces.”

She laughed at his playful words, “it’s all fine until a guy hits on me and then what?”

“Then you point at me, remind the unlucky bastard who you’re actually going home with, and he gets to feel even worse.”

She frowned at his words, “you wouldn’t get jealous or pissed off a guy flirted?”

“Are you kidding? You don’t seem the kind of woman who couldn’t handle herself. I mean, if it were too much and you needed me to step in, I’d step in but not unless you made it clear you were uncomfortable or you were incapable.”

  “Huh,” she was perplexed.

  “What?”

“One time at a gala fundraiser, one of Merl’s coworkers hit on me hard. I mean hard. We never went to another one.”

“Love, have you seen your rack?” As she crossed her arms over her chest in a surprised huff, he chuckled, “I would put you in a low-cut dress and let you distract all the pervs so I could get their money. Then I’d take you home and lay you in the cash and fuck you until dawn.”

  “You have a filthy tongue.”

“All the better to lick you with,” he growled devilishly, his dark eyes dancing with merriment as she shivered. “Cold?”

“No,” she met his gaze head on, “excited.”

  “Good.”

They continued chatting quietly. He explained the provocative lyrics of one of the songs and she was giggling as she considered he was making them far more explicit than they were. He was funny and naughty, and she hadn’t ever in her life been torn between laughter and wanting to jump on a man as much as she was in the short drive to his home. She had expected for a billionaire, he’d be in a huge, gated community but he was in a normal suburban neighborhood with a gated yard for privacy.

The car pulled up to the gate and pushed a remote in his visor and the gates swung open and he pulled the cars through.

She gave a low whistle, “holy.” His house was enormous at the end of a short tree-lined drive before arriving at a large circular driveway around a huge marble fountain. The house itself was massive but older, charming, and lit up. She looked to him excitedly, “you rebuilt this. This is a flip you did, isn’t it?”

He chuckled, “it is. I still very much enjoy getting my hands dirty.” He pulled the car to a stop and climbed out. He gave a wave in the direction of the street and then opened her car door. “Come on.”

  “Who did you wave to?”

“My security. I don’t go anywhere without them. They followed me there and back. I do like to drive my car, but they don’t enjoy when I do.”

She put her hand in his, feeling strangely vulnerable as he led her up the stairs to his home and entered a passcode on the door to let them in. Once inside he entered another passcode into a beeping security panel and then without preemption, he swung her up into his arms and started up a flight of stairs.

“What are you doing? I can walk.”

“Tomorrow morning, you’re staying all night by the way since this isn’t a booty call, before I cook you breakfast, I will give you a full tour of the entire estate before we drive to your old house and level it to the ground. Now however, the only room I want to show you is the one with my giant bed in it.”

She clung to his neck as he carried her bridal style up the winding staircase. “A big bed?”

“Huge. When I was a kid, I watched Home Alone, the second one in New York and Kevin had the biggest bed I had ever seen. In the last part of the movie, all the kids are sleeping on the floor and the bedwetter kid, he sleeps in the giant bed alone and I vowed someday I would be that kid.” He paused, “minus the bed wetting.”

She giggled at his story telling as he kicked a door open at the end of the long hall and looked around the room. It was spacious and warm, a fireplace lit underneath a television on the wall opposite the bed. He was right. The bed was huge. He tossed her into the middle of it and threw himself atop her.

She laughed as he squished her into the bed, his elbows on either side of her head.

“Why am I so comfortable with you?” he asked suddenly repeating back to her the question she had posed earlier. “I feel like I’ve known you my entire life. I’m talking more to you than any woman I have ever been around. I definitely want you more than any other woman.”

“I don’t know,” she wrapped her arms over his shoulders and stared into his deep brown eyes. “It’s the strangest feeling but I’m also very relaxed around you. When I approached you at Mara’s restaurant, I was so worried you would be another snobby rich bastard with your nose in the air and try to get me thrown out but the minute I sat down, I felt like I was meant to be there. Then I felt bad because your date was squealing when Elsie dumped water on her.”

  He chuckled, “Elsie?”

“Mm hm,” she grinned, “Mara is her sister. Mara was not on board with our plan and was terribly angry with us for Elsie blackmailing her to let me accost you the minute your date went to the bathroom. She made us pay for your dinner.”

“How did you know she would go to the bathroom?”

“Every girl makes one run to the powder room to make sure her lipstick isn’t on her teeth and to text her friend to tell her how hot her date is, or not. In your case, hot.”

  “You think I’m hot?”

She wriggled her body under his, “very. I bet,” she played with his hair at the nape of his neck, “under all these clothes it looks even better.”

He threw his head back and laughed at her bold flirting, “oh my god, Liesl, you are incredible.”

“I’m also overdressed and so are you. Are we here for chitchat or are we getting naked?”

“Liesl, I’m starting to think you only want me for my body.” His smile was wide as he teased her.

“Your brain is impressive. It really is but I haven’t had an orgasm not of my own design in months.”

“Well, we’ll need to fix this, won’t we?”

“We should,” she bit her lower lip. “Did I mention I’ve only done this with one other person? If I do something wrong, will you teach me to do it right?”

His eyes widened at her question, “Liesl, you’re going to let me put my dick in you. You could drag your teeth down it and I will still be happy. I’m a guy.”

She chortled at his words and laughed, “well I know that much. You don’t drag teeth. You bite down hard.” At his shocked expression she shook her head, “no? Not into that?”

“Not in the least,” he rocked his hips against her, “but as you can tell, I’m still not turned off.”

“And here I thought you had forgotten to remove your keys from your pocket.”

“Keys? You think this,” he repeated his rocking motion, “is as small as keys?”

She arched her hips towards his with a pensive expression, “maybe a bit bigger than keys. Cell phone perhaps?”

“Oh you!” he stared down at her mischievous grin. “You will have to find out for yourself.”

“I look forward to it.” She said as she pulled his head down for a kiss. She sighed deeply as his lips connected with hers. It all felt so right.
