Oceans of Us: Preface

Paisley

PRESENT DAY…

In a perfect world, it could be him and me until the very end. But this isn’t a perfect world…

It’s far from it.

After all, he’s whiskey, tobacco, and speeding Harleys. I’m green tea, poetry, and twirling flowers. To the naked eye, we would be beautifully incomplete if up until this point life had gone our way. But we were never that—beautifully incomplete—we’re the opposite.

Saint Lisconti is wholeheartedly the best thing that ever happened to me.

Our newfound spark…

Our emotional connection…

The heated stolen glances we share…

It’s all like a fairy tale and he’s my very own forbidden desire. But Saint isn’t a prince. He could never be. And although I’m a good girl, one to follow the rules, he’s always enticed me. Halfway through hate, I fell in love, and now we’re two broken souls mending each other’s flaws, but love isn’t supposed to hurt this deep.

Saint was never supposed to be anything more than the bad boy next door. My father’s best friend. A man eighteen years older than me. Someone I can never have. Instead, as the years progressed, he’s become my entire life…

My every single thought.

My every single second.

My every single breath.

They are his. All his.

Until I’m drowning in the oceans of us…
