Scandalous Park Avenue Prince: Chapter 12

archer

I’VE LOST MY fucking mind.

That was the only thing that made any sense. I was standing in the men’s restroom in one of the most exclusive restaurants in the city, with a hard-on inspired by Preston Abernathy.

I couldn’t remember the last time I’d felt such a dynamic pull to someone before, and now that I’d given myself permission to feel whatever was happening between us, it was like a switch had been flipped and I was unable to remain impervious in his presence.

Something that was blatantly obvious, given I had just left my dinner guests at the table claiming a business emergency, and then ordered Preston to leave his family and come meet me so I could…what?

I had no idea.

It wasn’t like this space was very private. Anyone could come and go.

I paced the length of the room, which was nicer than most apartment lobbies in the city, before bracing my hands on the sink and looking at my reflection in the mirror.

What the hell was I doing? His parents were right outside, for fuck’s sake. But that did nothing to calm my pulse which was throbbing in time with my dick. If anything, it made both throb a little harder.

That was how I knew I was in a world of trouble.

The door was pushed open and Preston stepped inside. I straightened from the sink and took a second to drink in the sight of him.

His cheeks were a little rosy, and I couldn’t help but wonder if that was from the champagne he’d been drinking, or the arousal I’d seen when he’d glanced back at me after practically crawling across the table—which I knew he’d done for me and me alone.

Preston bit down into his lower lip and slipped his hands into his pockets, and there was no mistaking he knew how to play the tease, because the move automatically had me looking where he wanted me to. His pressed pants were doing little to hide his erection, and the way the material was stretching across him outlined his hard-on in an almost indecent way.

A soft groan drew my gaze back to his, and when I saw him staring at my mouth, I realized I’d licked my lips. Not on purpose, but because damn, he made me feel fucking greedy.

“Hi,” he said, much like he had when I first arrived at the restaurant. But there was no panic on his face this time. His pillowy lip was swollen from where he’d been biting down on it, and I wanted nothing more than to take him into one of these stalls and make those lips of his even poutier from sucking on my—

“You told me to come to you…” He moved away from the door and walked over, and though every alarm bell was going off in my head, I shut each one down with every step he took.

“I did.” I smoothed a hand down my jacket to the couple of buttons and undid them. Then I shrugged out of it, setting it aside on the counter.

Preston’s hungry gaze roved down over me until it reached my thick length, and when he sucked in a breath, I put a finger under his chin and raised his face back to mine.

“Again. It’s good to see you can follow an order.”

We were only inches apart now, and I couldn’t stop myself from running a thumb across his lower lip like he had earlier when taunting me. He was just so damn beautiful.

“I promised you something the next time I saw you. Do you remember?”

He nodded. “I remember.”

“And do you still want to know?”

“More than my next breath.” My eyes flicked to the door behind him, and as all the reasons I shouldn’t do this flashed through my mind again, Preston said, “You don’t have to worry.”

“Worry?”

“That someone will come in.” He nipped at my thumb. “You’re not the only one who can pay off a waiter.”

Of course. Why didn’t I think of that? Preston was a Park Avenue Prince. The refined, well-bred façade he presented was deceiving.

“You didn’t think I was going to risk being interrupted, did you?”

“Hmm, I suppose I should’ve expected that. You are rather…resourceful.”

Preston’s pupils dilated as he again looked down my body. “When I want something, I’m very…single-minded.”

Now that was a fucking turn on.

There was something to be said for having the sole attention of someone as young and attractive as Preston focused on you. Hell, if they could bottle the feeling, it would sell better than that little blue pill. Because right now, I was so turned on that it was a miracle I didn’t bend him over the sink and take him right there.

Preston moved his hands to my waist and pulled my shirt out. I didn’t lift a hand to stop him or help him, practically holding my breath as I kept my eyes on his and he began to unbutton my shirt.

The cool air across my stomach as he parted the material made me shiver—or maybe that was a reaction from his fingers grazing my skin.

God, I wanted his hands on me. He barely touched me now, and my body practically vibrated with need.

“Hmm.” Preston tugged on my tie, a playful tilt to his lips. “If we had more time, this could be fun…”

I flashed to an image of him sprawled out on my bed, my tie around his wrists, and I reached up to grip his hand.

“Take it off,” I said, my voice coming out in an impatient growl. Even paying someone off wouldn’t give us more than a handful of minutes, and I wanted him to get what he came for.

And maybe I had other, more selfish, reasons, too.

“I like it when you tell me what to do,” Preston said, making quick work of undoing my tie and flicking open the final button at my throat. With my shirt now completely open, he dropped his gaze down my body, letting his fingers follow his eyes.

I knew he could feel the way I trembled at his touch, but fuck, I wanted it. I needed him to explore me any damn way he wanted to. But Preston seemed to have more self-control than I did at the moment, because he only lightly skimmed my chest and stomach with his fingertips.

When I cursed, he smiled, raising a brow as he said, “What was that you told me I needed the other day? Patience?” He moved his fingertips back up my chest, excruciatingly slowly. “Well, consider this me taking your advice.”

Goddammit, I had said that, and even though part of me now wanted to kick myself for it, I couldn’t deny how much I liked that he remembered, and was using my words against me to tease the hell out of my cock.

“Nothing here,” he said, giving my chest another once-over. Then he slid his hands under my shirt and pushed it off my shoulders. As it fell down my arms, Preston locked on to the tattoo he’d been searching for, and his smile grew. “Bingo.”

“Satisfied now?”

Instead of answering, he ran his fingers over the black and grey ink that I’d gotten a decade ago. The custom designed tattoo was of a fierce medieval dragon, its spiked tail wrapped around my arm. Preston lowered his head and looked up at me from under his lashes as he brushed his lips across my inked bicep. It was so unexpected, so deliciously sexy, that I inhaled sharply—and he repeated the move, adding his tongue.

I reached for the back of his head, twisting my fingers through his hair with enough pressure to draw his mouth off me.

“We don’t have time for all that,” I said.

“Maybe not now.” I could almost taste the champagne on his breath and had to hold myself back from diving in. “But we could have all the time in the world later.”

“Oh? There something you want, Preston?”

“I want you to invite me over.” The hand on my bicep gripped a little tighter, and he leaned in like he was going to kiss me.

But if this was all just one big tease, I wasn’t giving in so easily. I dodged his mouth, moving to the side of his neck and grazing the smooth skin under his ear with my nose. Fuck, he smelled good—and when he arched his head to give me better access, I felt my self-control begin to slip.

I could take him now. Right here. Do anything I wanted to him, and he’d beg me for more. Fuck whoever was out there waiting for us. All that existed in this moment was the two of us—

No. I’d already pushed things too far by inviting him to join me somewhere far too public.

But later…

The words were out of my mouth without another thought. “Meet me at my place after dinner.”

Surprise flashed in Preston’s eyes. “Really?”

“Have you changed your mind?”

“Fuck no.” He shook his head, a smile spreading across those lips I was desperate to taste. “I’ll be there. Wherever you want me.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

A quick rap on the door served as a warning that our time together was over. Preston took a step back and looked me over again with unquenched thirst. I could only imagine what I looked like. The cuffs of my shirt around my wrists were the only things that kept it from hitting the floor, my tie dangled loosely around my neck, and Preston’s kiss still lingered on my tattoo.

The fact that no one outside these doors knew what we were doing in here made the whole thing even more intoxicating, but I knew it would be nothing compared to what would happen when I got him alone and finally gave in.

As I pulled my shirt back on and began to put myself back together, Preston glanced at himself in the mirror and smoothed down the back of his hair where my hands had been.

“Enjoy your dinner, Mr. Carrington. Be sure to leave room for dessert.” He winked at me in the mirror and then slipped out the door, leaving me and my aching cock alone…until later.
