Sick Boys: Chapter 15

PENELOPE

I make my way through the hallways of the university on a mission to find that fucking Nathan guy, wherever he is. All I have to go off is the picture my sister put in her diary, but I’ve got it imprinted in my retina. I’ll find the fucker someday. He can’t hide forever after sending me that fucking note.

My sister never mentioned Nathan to me, and his spot in the diary is tiny. Why wouldn’t she talk more about him if he was the bully who made her jump?

“What course did we have again?” I ask Crystal to stop myself from overthinking things.

Crystal checks her schedule. “We’re both going to Financial Risk Management. It’s just around the corner.”

Crystal and I share this class and one other with Kayla, so she sees this as a prime opportunity to get to know all about me. But I’m not the kind of girl to simply dish out everything there is to know about me. Because people always have ulterior motives, and anything I say can and will be used against me.

I come to an abrupt halt in the middle of the hallway, where Alistair tacks a piece of paper onto a bulletin board hanging from the wall. He glances over at us.

Fuck.

I hide behind a pillar and pull Crystal with me.

“Whoa, Pen, what’s going on?” she asks. “Who did you see?”

“Alistair.”

Her eyes widen. “Those Society boys?”

I put my finger in front of my mouth.

When I lean sideways to gaze at Alistair, he smirks and casually saunters off, pinning more of the papers as he goes.

Goddammit, he saw us.

No point in hiding.

“He’s gone now,” I say, turning around the corner of the pillar.

I head straight for the bulletin board and snatch the paper off. It’s an invitation to a Halloween party.

My heart begins to thrum.

“Oh wow, no, absolutely not. God no.” Crystal laughs while I stare at the note. “Wait, you’re not actually thinking of going there, are you?”

This is perfect.

“Pen, please tell me you’re not going to that party,” Crystal says.

“He put this here for me to find,” I say.

She grabs my shoulders. “Pen, listen to me. All those boys have the money and power to make anyone disappear. If you get in their way, if they think you’re a threat, they’ll destroy you.”

My nostrils flare. “They can fucking try.”

I need to be there. If I can’t find that Nathan guy here on campus, I’ll definitely find him at a party hosted by the three richest fuckers in this university. And it’s a Halloween party too, with mandatory Halloween outfits.

A smirk forms on my face.

I guess it’s time to go back to that serpent’s den.

I pull up the bustier of this bright red and black costume that looks more like some erotic underwear for pleasure. The only reason I’m wearing this is because I know they won’t let me into the building if I don’t. One of the stipulations on the note I snatched off the bulletin board. Dress sexy.

Well, if they want sexy, they can get fucking over-the-top sexy … my way.

I pop my lips and apply some thick red lipstick and a black lip liner to create an ombre look, then put on my eyelashes. And finally, I draw on some blood droplets. When I’m done, I lean back and look at myself in the mirror. With this cape and these bloody marks around my mouth, I look like a certified vampire on the way to her next victim.

Perfect.

I grab my purse and check if I have everything like my phone and my trusted knife that I’ve used several times before when I needed protection. A gift I once received from my father who didn’t know what to get his girl for her birthday. It turns out, it was the best idea ever.

With a smirk on my face, I march out of the bathroom and head straight for the door.

“Whoa, where’re you going looking like that?” Kayla asks as she pauses the show she was watching on her laptop.

“A party,” I reply.

“You don’t mean the one at the Skull & Serpent Society frat house, right?” She throws some popcorn into her mouth.

“That’s the one.”

She almost chokes on some kernels. “What? No, you’ve got to be joking. They’re the worst. Do you even know what you’re getting yourself into? Like their parties are legit known as the place where people go to get fucked up and possibly even die.”

“I’m going to try to find this Nathan guy there. It’s a party. It can’t be that bad.”

She laughs. “They’ve literally hazed people to death.”

“This isn’t a hazing,” I reply, putting on my sky-high black heels.

“So? People die. It’s a thing there. Not even to mention all the drugs and alcohol involved.” She rolls her eyes. “I mean, I’ve been to a few parties, but those guys?” She makes a funny face. “They’re really into some fucked-up, lewd shit.”

“I’ll be in and out. That’s it,” I say, opening the door.

She sighs. “You sure you don’t need me to come with you?” She crawls off the bed in her pajamas and nightcap. “Because I will. I just have to put on some shoes.”

I chuckle. “No, it’s fine. Go watch your show. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.”

“Okay, if you say so,” she replies as I close the door. “But call me if something happens, and I’ll come out with my tits swinging!”

I snort. “Thanks, Kayla! See you later.”

I run down the hallway, ignoring the many looks I get as I pass open doors, and I rush down the steps and out the door. The air is chilly outside for an October night, and I definitely didn’t dress for the weather. I dressed to impress.

I dress to lure in boys like Nathan, who do bad things and think they can get away with it.

And when I finally get close enough … I’ll bite his fucking head off.

Dylan

Chilling on the couch with two girls in my arms and amazing music playing over the speakers is just the way I like to spend a night. This Halloween party couldn’t have been better planned. All the food, booze and drugs you could ever want at our fingertips, casually scattered across the house on several tables, along with cups and snorting strips. I’ve got people covered together with Alistair, who bought most of it. He stole a few bottles here and there. Not because we can’t afford it but because it gets him off like nothing else.

We’re all a little crazy in this fucked-up house.

In fact, it’s a fucking requirement for anyone who wants to join.

The Skull & Serpent Society only accepts people willing to go beyond depravity. They get a hazing filled with obscenity, filth, and body fluids. Just like any of our gatherings.

The cost is steep.

But the price?

Immeasurable.

This Society is the home of all future CEO’s, world leaders, and generations of the ultra rich.

Everyone wants to be here, even the fucking girls, who can’t ever get in since it’s a boys-only club. The only exception is for a party like now.

Everyone … except one fucking girl.

I take a drag of the pot the girl on one of my knees offers me, and she giggles when I blow the smoke out in her face. The other girl starts rubbing my chest, wriggling her fingers underneath my expensive smoking so she can twirl my red tie around her finger.

“Hey,” the other girl says, and she grabs my coat too, shoving the other girl’s hand away. “I was first.”

I laugh and put my hands on both their asses, my dick already growing hard as a rock just from their display of jealousy. “Girls. Girls. There’s plenty to share.”

“There’s always more room here,” Alistair comments from the couch across from me, patting the red leather on his left side. To his right, a girl gently caresses his chest, while sometimes trying to peel away the mask, which he immediately blocks.

“Always ready to steal, huh?” I reply.

A smug grin follows. “It’s what I do best.”

He licks his lips and eyes down the girls as one of them begins to touch my hard-on, and he bites his lip.

He whispers something into the ear of the girl sitting next to him. She promptly glances my way before she begins to touch his thighs, creeping closer and closer to his crotch.

I smirk.

I enjoy a challenge.

Felix suddenly appears behind Alistair, and he puts his hands on both ends of the couch. “What do you two think you’re doing?”

Ali’s girl quickly crawls off him and runs off to dance with someone else.

“Enjoying the fucking party,” Alistair responds, “which you now ruined. Thanks.”

Felix pulls out a knife from underneath his hoodie and holds it over his neck.

“You think I’m threatened by a knife?” Alistair says, and he literally leans into the blade until he begins to bleed. “I live with you for fun.”

Felix pauses and then retracts the knife. “Wouldn’t expect anything else from a fucker like you.”

Then he turns his gaze to me. “Stop jerking off. We’ve got work to do.”

The two girls slowly drape away from me.

I frown, annoyed. “Work? What the fuck?”

I was just about to enjoy a very public jerk-off session, and now all I’m left with are blue balls. He’d better have a good explanation.

“I’m about to combust here, Felix.” I get up from the couch to follow him. “Can’t you give us a break?”

“You think two girls touching you is ecstasy?” he asks as we walk through the sea of people and into the giant hallway. “Save your fucking jizz. I’ve got something better.”

“Like what?” Alistair chimes in. He’s followed us unseen. I’m always surprised when he manages to do that. It still makes me jumpy.

Felix takes us aside in a secluded corner of the Society, near the library. “Penelope. I saw it on the cameras. She’s here. And I’m going to fucking find her.”
