~Welcome to Sugarland Creek Ranch and Equine Retreat~
The town of Sugarland Creek is home to over two thousand residents and is surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. We’re only fifteen minutes from the downtown area, where you can shop at local boutiques, grab a latte, catch a movie, or simply enjoy the views.
We’re an all-inclusive ranch. While we provide rustic lodging, each cabin is handicapped-accessible with ramps and smooth walking trails. If you need assistance with traveling between activities, we’ll provide you with a staff member to pick you up in one of our handicapped-accessible vehicles at any time. Please request at the front desk or dial ‘0’ on your room phone. We’re here to help in any way we can.

Meet the Hollis family:
Garrett & Dena Hollis
Mr. and Mrs. Hollis have been married for over thirty years and have five children. The Sugarland Creek Ranch has been home to over three Hollis generations. When the family officially took over twenty years ago, they added on the retreat to share their love of horses and the outdoors with the public.

The Lodge building is staffed 24 hours a day. It’s home to our reception & guest services, The Sugarland Restaurant & Saloon, and activities sign-up.

We pride ourselves on serving authentic Southern food, so please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or needs to better serve you. We offer brunch from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The restaurant is open for dinner from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If you wish to dine or find other activities off the ranch, we’re less than an hour from Gatlinburg and are happy to provide you with suggestions.
