Bailey’s POV
No, no, no, that cunt won’t have him, Beta Danford is mine and only mine, I will not allow that rogue to get him from me. I’m seething in anger and jealousy as I watch him with Rhea, they are talking and the little bitch is blushing.
Tears were rolling down my cheeks and I grit my teeth in anger. How can anyone believe that she is an Alveraz Lycan Alpha, one of the most powerful Lycans to ever live, my father managed to kill him because he attacked his Luna which left him vulnerable. I glare at the little cunt, she is nothing special I wonder why Dan and my brother are pining over her, I admit she is beautiful but not on my level. That is why I have to get rid of her as soon as possible but for now, I have to create chaos between her and Dan.
‘Shall we?’ Says Danford, he was even training her for the duel about to come. I watched them train and fight fiercely. Rhea was quite good in combat. I flipped my hair and went away to the spa for a day of relaxation with my girls.
We did everything and I waxed myself for the beta tonight. I am planning on offering myself to him tonight and marking him.
Reaching my pack house, I went straight to my room but I was surprised to find my brother there, he had a sinister smile on his lips as he looked down at my shopping backs.
‘What are you doing here, Jas,’ I ask, crossing my arms against my chest, just last night he and dad insulted me for failing to keep the beta to my side. He smiles and stands in the corner, he wants something.
‘Well, I’m here to ask what your plans are with the beta, are you just going to let him be after he embarrassed you and chose Rhea?’ The fucker was pushing my buttons, I have been humiliated in my attempts to get him back but no more, once he sees me naked on his bed, he will forget about that pathetic bitch and fuck me. Rhea will reject him instantly once she learns about my devious plan.
‘Get out, Jason,’ I order, looking through what I got. My big brother sighs,
‘I’m sorry for denigrating you yesterday, I was pissed because I saw my mate being all cuddly with that fucking beta,’
‘She’s not your mate, you rejected her remember?’ I remind him brutally, he looks hurt but it’s the truth, If he thinks that low-life bitch will take him back after the shit he and the torture he put her through then my mom is right about him, he’s as fucked up, and dumb as our father.
‘I love her and it hurts,’ He confesses, I narrow my gaze on my brother in pity. Damn fucking Rhea, what’s impressive about her? I should have killed her in tenth grade when I had the chance.
‘I’ll try out something to seduce Danford and if it works, we’ll both get what we want,’
Jason’s face immediately lits up and he smirks, something evil probably brewing in his fucked up mind.
‘All the best, fuck I can’t wait to have Rhea in my arms and punish her for rejecting me,’ He mutters, exiting my room.
Rhea’s POV
After leaving the training field with Danford, yes, we are on a first-name basis now. After leaving the training field, we walk to pack house hand in hand. Our relationship is advancing slowly and I’m loving the pace at which we are going.
‘I want to take a long shower… wanna join me,’ He asks in a sexy suggestive voice. He is leaning close to me and I can feel his breath on me, making the hair on my body stand up.
‘No,’ I’m blushing, since when am I like this? He pouts and pulls me to him,
‘Can you move into my room then?’ He asks
‘No,’ I answer, he’s been wanting me to move in with him but I can’t I feel we’d be moving too fast
‘Is No your favorite answer?’
‘Yes,’ He chuckles and shakes his head. We continue to walk, and Danford escorts me to my room, which he hates that I stay far from him by the way.
‘Please move in with me, I won’t bite just yet, promise,’ I get on my tiptoes, kissing him close to his lips.
‘I’ll think about it,’ He smiles like I’ve given him a gift.
‘Thank you, baby,’ With that, he exits the room. I grab my towel and body wash, to go take a shower and after a few minutes, come out. I wear my leggings and sweater and lay on the bed. I keep turning and tossing, something bothering me. I try getting a book from my collections and I pick out my favorite; Pride and Prejudice. I hold the books in my hands but I wasn’t reading the book. Is Mr. Darcy my Dan? If so they have different personalities.
The house was so quiet this night, I wore my slippers and went outside to get the evening breeze which did wonders against my skin, it was kinda chilly, and just as I was about to walk back in my eyes meet Jason and my heart thumped into my chest.
