Trust No One: Chapter 46

Malcolm Grimes listened to the news, learning that Janice Plum, the woman who just four days ago had been badly burned in a vicious attack, had passed away from her injuries.

He turned off the radio, sat in silence in his car for a few minutes, taking that news in. He was parked in a layby overlooking the entrance to Black Dog Farm. The place where his twin sister had died at the hands of cruel bullies. Bullies that had included Janice.

The farm was now run down, hadn’t been lived in for years. Margaret’s death had taken care of that.

Everything came full circle. It had started here and tonight it would end here.

And Malcolm was ready.
